Sidney, I want to ask you a couple of questions. I know you came to us with a work injury and a third party injury as well.

We represented you on the work injury, but can you tell us a little bit about what happened? Yes, good morning. So, I was hurt on the job. It kind of started with my vehicle stalling out.

I called for help and in that case I was out of the vehicle trying to make sure the cars passing wouldn’t interfere with the vehicle. And in doing so, I was hit by a driver. Very horrific injury.

At what point did you know, obviously you had a serious injury, you went to the hospital. I know the history, I don’t want to get too deep into it, but at what point did you know that you were going to need some help with your injury? It took me a while to come to, but once I spoke with family and they told me the severity of the situation, I knew immediately I was going to have to contact somebody as soon as possible to get things going for my sake. Because when it started, everything was being put under my name, under my insurance.

I was, you know, being the person held responsible to pay. So, I knew immediately I had to find someone. Gotcha.

And that answers actually my next question, which was what made you feel like you needed help. That certainly was a strong indication of that. How did you find us? Actually, I really just Googled best workman’s comp lawyer in the city of Savannah.

And your name was the first name to pop up. And I’ve never heard of, you know, your guys’ law firm. But being that it was the first one, it has to be highly, you know, looked up.

So, I clicked on your name and I read your reviews, read the information. And I said, why not give him a try? You know, I saw you had 40 plus years of experience. So, I was like, well, I know he knows his job.

So, let’s just go with it. What was the thought process? Obviously, you told me you decided that. You saw me on Google.

What questions in particular did you have in saying, you know, what do I need to ask an attorney? What do I need to know for help? I didn’t know anything about, you know, workman’s comp cases. So, being that you specialize in it, that was a key thing for me to, you know, inquire about. And also, I didn’t know about the insurance side of it and, you know, how things would get paid and stuff like that.

And dealing also with my job. And you kind of hinted at it right there. But what were some of the doubts and fears that you had about the whole process? Well, my biggest doubts and fears is that, one, that I would probably have to cover this because of the crazy incident.

And then, two, I didn’t know if you would be able to help my situation. Also, because it was a third party interfering with the job. You saw me.

You talked to me. I don’t know. Did you talk to any other attorneys? I guess, what made you choose Ty Wilson Law? I didn’t know if you had spoken to others or if you talked to me and that was it.

No, I did speak with someone else. But I didn’t feel comfortable with them. I didn’t feel like they were personable.

I didn’t feel like they were here for my side of the situation. But when you made that quote-unquote house call, you know, hospital call, I was… You knew who I was. Yeah.

I was… You might not, but I remember. I just remember you being there. I don’t even remember the conversation.
