I am here with Ben, who is a former client of Ty Wilson Law, Georgia accident attorney.
Ben lives here in Georgia. And before I start asking you questions, Ben, I’m going to just kind of give a general overview of what happened.
You were working while you were operating a vehicle for your employer, got into a car wreck and had the unique situation of what I call a work wreck, where you were injured on the job, doing the job you’re supposed to be doing while you were driving and someone else was at fault. Yes. And so once that happened to you, I guess, can you tell me before you got Ty Wilson Law involved in our office, kind of where were you at that time? I was struggling.
My employer was not helpful. HR wasn’t helpful. I did have a person from their insurance company reach out, but they were, the whole process seemed to be very drawn out and here I am at that point out of work, not getting paid.
Gotcha. And that obviously has a negative impact on you and your family, right? Absolutely. Okay.
How did you come about finding out about Ty Wilson Law? I didn’t even know where to begin. Everywhere you drive in Georgia, you see attorneys on billboards and I didn’t want to go that route. So I researched, I think it was avvo.com and I just looked for local attorneys, came across your profile.
I was kind of looking for a middle ground profile where there weren’t a ton of reviews, but there also weren’t very little or very few. I think you had, I don’t know how many you had, but you had an amount of reviews I was comfortable with and they were all five stars. So I reached out to you.
Did you reach out to several other attorneys as well or did you just reach out to us? Just you. Okay. Great.
And then I guess obviously you felt comfortable with us, decided to pursue. And I don’t remember off top of my head actually right now, did you sign up for a worker’s comp or sign up for personal injury case one or the other first and then we signed you up for another one? I think it was all right around the same time. I had spoken with you a few times on the phone before I officially signed up and I was very impressed.
You’re very knowledgeable with what I was going through, felt comfortable. So signed up. Glad I did.
Thank you. Before you made that commitment to sign up, what kind of doubts and fears did you have about the whole process? I’d never in my life ever been through a process like this, never had to hire an attorney for anything. So it was the unknown, I guess is my worry.
Very good. Hopefully, and I guess this is a question more, did your conversations with me before you signed up help you feel more at ease with the process? Absolutely. Yes.
You answered a lot of my questions. Everyone I had actually for the process and it really helped greatly. Good.
Well, thank you. Tell us where you’re at now as far as process of the claims. They’re obviously closed.
Yeah, everything’s done. The whole process was very smooth. You were able to expedite what you could on your end, doctor’s appointments.
You got workers comp working very quickly. As far as where I’m at now, I’ve since left the company I was working for. I got a new job, spending time with my newborn daughter now.
So yeah, I’m in a much better place. I still have body pain once in a while, but after the PT I did, they gave me some exercises to do at home and I just do that and takes care of it. Good.
Is there anything that, let’s see, what were you able to do now that you couldn’t do before? I guess more comfortable if something like this were to happen again, I would know how to handle it. I don’t have any doubts on the process anymore. And now that I’ve gone through it, I know what to look for.
Gotcha. And I guess along the same lines, what would you tell someone who is watching this right now and is unsure about taking the next step as far as for their own benefit? They won’t regret it at all. Feel comfortable, sign up as fast as you can and Ty will absolutely take care of you.
